CYMATIC HABITATS

.
In refuges of late night consolations and chasms of childhood hopes, I was told that the world will remain until they are with us. Afterlife starts with the death of the circumambient system, or the subsystem that sustains its existence. In this hour, as they are leaving our fields and plantations, echoes of the afterlife are sung by the youth.

Cymatic Habitats is a multi-annual response to the rapid decline in bee populations and the subsequent detriment of their disappearance. As a form of renewed design activism, this collection of objects, transliteration experiments and Chladni records, serve as conversational pieces for system preservation and shifts towards life-centredness.
